FAQ

FAQ

What screenwriting services are available?

The team of professional screenwriters here at Screenwriters for Hire help with any type of screenplay. Whether you have a basic idea or a rough draft from us to work with, we will help you create a full screenplay. We also help with writing query letters and film treatments.

Which genres do you cover?

We have screenwriters for every genre; the screenwriter that will work with you will specialize in your genre.

How do the screenwriters and I communicate?

Using text messaging, phone calls, instant messaging, and email you will have direct contact with the lead writer.

How long do I have to wait for a completed project?

Our writers all write full time and average about 25 pages a week. The only time we are not writing is when we are awaiting feedback on part of the project.   When there is an emergency situation we can push to complete a 100-115 page screenplay in about one month, as long as we have a full treatment from which to work.

How do I pay?

We work with you to find the best payment installment options that works for your project. The first installment includes the first section of your screenplay, which we email to you for feedback before we continue with the next. Most payments are paid through PayPal using a credit, debit, or PayPal account.   However, if you prefer another form of payment we will work with you.

Do you share credit for the screenplay?

No. Although we do appreciate some recognition, we are ghostwriters and you do not have an obligation to give us credit. Our non-disclosure agreement (NDA) forbids us from taking credit for writing the screenplay.

What about royalties?

Many of our clients produce or sell our screenplays, which in turn become major motion pictures. We do not ever charge a royalty. What you pay for your project is the only payment you make to us.

How can I be guaranteed that you will not steal my project?

We would never consider stealing or plagiarizing your work; our business would be short lived if we did. However, you are definitely free to copyright your project. Plus, all of the emails through which we communicate provide a time stamped record.

You can begin the process without any obligation by completing the contact form, call (323) 570-4473, or send an email to contact@screenwriterforhire.com.
